Deep Caving in Clearwell Caves

So, I went Deep Caving with my foster mum. "Let's go out for a coffee and cake" she said, my mistake was not asking "what are we going to do before the coffee and cake?" ha!
After a drive to Clearwell Caves I still wasn't entirely sure what I got myself in for. Can I just say that my foster mum is 64 and is the most active person I know! She loves and adventure that's for sure.
We went to reception and they pointed use in the direction to get our gear and we were greeted by a lovely chap called Andy who was our guide. After about ten minutes of faffing to get our gear on we made our way to the very dodgy entrance to the cave (I have attached a picture below). As I got through the dodgy hole I was greeted by plenty of spiders hanging from above, as if I wasn't already questioning my choices leading to this moment I certainly was now. After hesitation I continued on, like the strong cookie that I am ha.
The further in we went the less spiders there were and I was super glad about that because we were crawling on the floor in some places.
Andy asked if we wanted to go into the 'worm hole' I peeped my head down to see the 'worm hole' and my biggest question was - How on earth can anyone fit down there? He assured me and the other wonderful ladies on the tour that we would fit but not a single one of us thought we could so we shimmied around the sides and went another way.
We did end up going through the 'rabbit hole', the 'mouse hole' and the 'cork screw' all of which sound daunting and are daunting.
In amongst all of the very painful rocks there were amazing views and something I would tell anyone to experience at least once.
A few days have passed and I look like a Dalmatian. Would I do it again? Ummm... I will have to think about that one. That's not to say Andy or Clearwell Caves were bad I just don't enjoy crawling on my stomach through sheets of rock the size of a thumb.
