Bar 44 Restaurant Review (October 2023) - Cardiff Central

I went to Bar 44 with my boyfriend to celebrate our 4 years and to fill ourselves up before going to see Ludovico Einaudi in Cardiff.

Who undoubtable is one of the best musicians in history!

Back to Bar 44, as we arrived we were greeted by a lovely woman who took us to our table and ensure that we had a lovely time.

I don't know about you but I normally like to have a look at the menu before I eat somewhere so I can order almost straight away. So we ordered :

For Drinks - Red Berry Sangria (Pitcher)

For Mains - Patatas Bravas, Pork Belly, Ex-dairy Ox Cheek, Morunos Cheek and Arros

Meloso (I have attached a picture of the menu if you wanna see what each one consisted of).

The service was speedy, the food was fabulous and the atmosphere was warm.

We decided to go for five dishes and for us that was the perfect amount of food.

We ate everything and it tasted great.

The patas bravas were the best I have ever tried and I have tried a few through the years.

I believe they were triple cooked and super nice and crisp. My next favourite dish was the cod, it went to well with the risotto rice! A must try :)

I will be going to Bar 44 again and considering how much food we got the price wasn't too bad at all. A must!
